Jenkins scored 22 points in his debut on Monday and poured in 29 on Tuesday as the Jam defeated Santa Cruz and Los Angeles. Fellow rookie Mike Scott was also sent down with Jenkins but he is currently sick and will remain with Bakersfield for now. Scott sat out Tuesday's game with the illness. No word as to whether he will travel with the Jam to Reno on Friday or return to Atlanta once he is feeling better.

Atlanta took advantage of a four day break in the schedule to send their rookies to the D-League to get some valuable time on the court. Jenkins is eligible to return to the D-League should the Hawks decide to send him back at some point.
