The Atlanta Dream announce 2013 schedule

The Atlanta Dream will kick off the 2013 WNBA season on May 25 against the Tulsa Shock at Philips Arena.

Dale Zanine-US PRESSWIRE

The Atlanta Dream will begin their 2013 WNBA season on May 25 with a home game against the Tulsa Shock at Philips Arena. The Dream will be looking for their fifth consecutive playoff trip in just their sixth season in the league. Atlanta went to the WNBA Finals during 2010 and 2011 but fell in the playoffs last season to eventual champ Indiana.

This will be the first full season for head coach Fred Williams who took over for Marynell Meadors midway through last season. Williams and company are busy building this year's roster and are searching for answers at the point guard position after Lindsey Harding signed with the Los Angeles Sparks to play for former Dream assistant coach Carol Ross last week.

The team is also busy preparing for the WNBA Draft which will be held on April 15. Atlanta also has to work out a new contract with star forward Angel McCoughtry who is a restricted free agent and will no doubt draw some interest from teams despite a rather turbulent personality.

Here is a look at the full 2013 schedule for the Atlanta Dream:
