Atlanta Hawks vs Milwaukee Bucks, 2021 NBA Eastern Conference Finals Set Number: X163680 TK1

The Atlanta Hawks made quite a bit of noise as they navigated the deepest postseason run in franchise history this past postseason, putting the Eastern Conference on notice. With their youth, it seems reasonable that they are here to stay as a contender going forward.

Ceasars Sportsbook has futures odds posted for the 2021-22 NBA season, and the Hawks come in at +4000, or 40 to 1, to win the 2022 NBA title. Here’s a full look at the NBA in terms of best odds to win the 2022 Finals:

  • Brooklyn Nets (+225)
  • Los Angeles Lakers (+400)
  • Milwaukee Bucks (+800)
  • Golden State Warriors (+1000)
  • Phoenix Suns (+1500)
  • Utah Jazz (+1500)
  • Philadelphia 76ers (+1600)
  • Los Angeles Clippers (+2000)
  • Denver Nuggets (+2500)
  • Miami Heat (+2500)
  • Dallas Mavericks (+3000)
  • Atlanta Hawks (+4000)
  • Boston Celtics (+5000)
  • Portland Trail Blazers (+6000)
  • Chicago Bulls (+8000)
  • New York Knicks (+8000)
  • Memphis Grizzlies (+10000)
  • New Orleans Pelicans (+10000)
  • Indiana Pacers (+10000)
  • Toronto Raptors (+10000)
  • Charlotte Hornets (+15000)
  • Washington Wizards (+15000)
  • Sacramento Kings (+25000)
  • San Antonio Spurs (+25000)
  • Minnesota Timberwolves (+30000)
  • Cleveland Cavaliers (+50000)
  • Houston Rockets (+50000)
  • Detroit Pistons (+50000)
  • Orlando Magic (+50000)
  • Oklahoma City Thunder (+50000)

By no means is this meant to inspire someone to wager on the Hawks, but the 40 to 1 number does seem fairly high given the prices for teams like the Heat, 76ers and others that probably don’t have much or any better of a shot of taking down the elites like Brooklyn, Milwaukee and the Lakers than Atlanta does. They are one of the better prices on the board, though of course use caution with any wager, especially one that requires a team to win a championship to pay out. Odds are subject to and will inevitably change over the course of the upcoming season.

Stay tuned.
