The Atlanta Hawks announced their 2021 preseason schedule Thursday morning. After a 2-3 showing in the Las Vegas Summer League, the Hawks move onward to training camp in preparation for a new season. The preseason schedule goes as follows:

Monday, Oct. 4 - Atlanta Hawks at Miami Heat - 7:30 pm ET - Bally Sports Southeast

Wednesday, Oct. 6 - Cleveland Cavaliers at Atlanta Hawks - 7:30 pm ET - Bally Sports Southeast

Saturday, Oct. 9 - Atlanta Hawks at Memphis Grizzlies - 8 pm ET - Bally Sports Southeast

Thursday, Oct. 14 - Miami Heat at Atlanta Hawks - 7:30 pm ET - Bally Sports Southeast

Atlanta will play four preseason games, two at home and two on the road. All four games will be televised by Bally Sports Southeast, which is nice for the Atlanta faithful because all of the preseason games have not always been televised.

The full NBA regular season schedule is set to release tomorrow afternoon. Two games we know now are the home opener (Oct. 21 vs. the Dallas Mavericks) and Christmas Day (Hawks at the New York Knicks to kick off the day at noon ET). The Hawks may play on the road before Oct. 21, but the team did announced that the Dallas game is the home opener, so that much is for sure.

Stay tuned.
