With a win by the New York Knicks in the regular season finale over the Boston Celtics, the first round matchup crystalized for the Atlanta Hawks, even before they took the court against the Houston Rockets. Trae Young, Nate McMillan and the Hawks will enter the 2021 NBA Playoffs as the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference, and they will face the Knicks as the No. 4 seed, with New York holding home-court advantage.
