For months, Atlanta Hawks fans have speculated on what the team’s next jerseys may look like, with the team referencing a change beginning with the 2020-21 NBA season. On Friday, a leaked jersey emerged, via Rob Perez of the Action Network.
It was just tipped to me the Atlanta Hawks will be debuting the following jerseys starting next season, throwback colors/trim with the theme celebrating “The Human Highlight” era. pic.twitter.com/Dkk8tit7Zv

Shortly after, the news was confirmed by Sarah Spencer of the AJC and I’m told that the jersey is indeed one of the uniforms that the Hawks will be wearing next season. With that said, it remains to be seen as to how many variants Atlanta will utilize and a source indicates there are “more to come.”
Of league-wide interest is the fact that this image features a Jordan Brand logo (in addition to Atlanta’s Sharecare sponsorship), and that would represent a substantial change from the Nike uniforms worn by the Hawks during the 2019-20 season.
After jerseys that were primarily red and navy blue from 2007 through 2015, the Hawks moved to the “volt” uniforms beginning with the 2015-16 season, with the franchise moving closer to its roots with yellow as a primary color. In recent days, Atlanta has experimented with various throwback jerseys — including the wildly popular “Peachtree” edition — and the Hawks celebrated their 50th anniversary with throwback options during the 2018-19 season.
Stay tuned as more information becomes available.
