UPDATE: John Collins, De’Andre Hunter, Kevin Huerter and Jeff Teague were removed from Atlanta’s injury report on Monday afternoon, signaling that all four will be available to play. DeAndre’ Bembry has been ruled out alongside Clint Capela and Skal Labissiere.

After a weekend back-to-back that didn’t go particularly well, the Atlanta Hawks return home on Monday evening to welcome the Charlotte Hornets in a Southeast Division battle. In the only previous meeting between the two teams this season, the Hawks picked up a decisive win in Charlotte, though much has changed on both sides since then.

It will be interesting to see how the Hawks respond to their winless performance last week and, with respect to the Hornets, Charlotte isn’t a team that presents overwhelming talent on the other side. In fact, Atlanta enters this game as a 4.5-point favorite according to the good folks from Las Vegas, illustrating the winnable nature of this face-off.

From an injury standpoint, the Hawks continue to operate without Clint Capela and Skal Labissiere, with John Collins (right thigh contusion) and Kevin Huerter (left groin soreness) listed as probable.

Atlanta will also be keeping a close eye on De’Andre Hunter (left knee contusion), with the rookie forward listed as questionable. From there, Jeff Teague (flu-like symptoms) and DeAndre’ Bembry (abdominal pain) are also questionable to play.

For Charlotte, Malik Monk continues to be suspended, but the Hornets’ injury report is otherwise clean, perhaps providing an edge against the banged-up Hawks.

Stay tuned throughout the day and be encouraged to utilize the comments below as a “game thread” for the action.
