Preview: Hawks aim for revenge in Memphis

NBA: Memphis Grizzlies at Atlanta Hawks Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

UPDATE: Atlanta’s official injury report lists Trae Young as questionable for tonight’s game with flu-like symptoms. DeAndre’ Bembry (abdominal) is also questionable. Cam Reddish (back) is probable.

The Atlanta Hawks fought valiantly in the fourth quarter on Friday evening but, ultimately, the team suffered its second consecutive loss. In a quick turnaround, the Hawks will be back on the floor on Saturday evening, with a road trip to Memphis for a rematch against the Grizzlies.

On Monday, the Hawks were unceremoniously blasted by the Grizzlies and, as such, Atlanta could have a bit of extra motivation in this face-off. Both teams are on the second night of a back-to-back, removing a bit of the disadvantage for Atlanta, but there will be plenty of attention paid to the injury report.

At the original time of this post, neither team has published an official listing, simply due to the logistics of the back-to-back. Still, it is worth noting that Memphis was without both Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brandon Clarke on Friday, and the Hawks will be hoping to get Trae Young (flu-like symptoms) back after a one-game absence.

Due to the injury uncertainty, there is not an consensus point spread but, barring the unexpected absence of Ja Morant, the Hawks project to be the underdog at tip-off.
