My Summer Blueprint for Hawks

So far Travis has done little for me to doubt him and his vision for the Hawks, but if I could have my dream off-season I would love to see the following happen:

- I would love you to see us unload our first 2nd rounder and Prince to the Spurs for 19th pick in draft, which presumably would give us 5, 9, 19. Which would see us draft the following guys: Reddish, Hayes, Thybulle.

Admittedly, 2 of the 3 are very raw- but Hayes & Thybulle immediately upgrade our defense and Reddish has a super high ceiling (I don’t think he showed all he can do at Duke and I suspect his 3 point shooting will improve close to 40% by year 3 in the league, plus his defense is solid and will get better.)

That should be an enticing young core to attract 2 good free agents to the team. The two I would go after are Brogdon and Vucevic. Brogdon can spell Trae at PG for stretches, play beside him at the 2 and guard 3 positions well on the floor. Vucevic at the 5 has the ability to protect the rim, not crowd Collins, play mean pick-n-roll with Trae. Plus, he allows us to bring Hayes along slowly offensively. Hayes can come in and run the floor, block shots and rebound.

All these moves would give the Hawks would of the deepest rosters in the league too. Imagine a rotation of the following:

Guards: Trae, Huerter, Brogdon, Baze, Thybulle and Bremby

Front court of Reddish, Collins, Len, Davis, Hayes, Vucevic and Spellman.

I feel like that gives us a team that has a floor of 42-45 wins and upwards of 50-52, which sets us up nicely the following summer to get a true max player when Baze and Plumlee come off the books.

Would you all be happy with a summer like this?
