2018 NBA Summer League Game 8: Hawks vs. Blazers

Join us for tournament action.

NBA: Summer League-Brooklyn Nets at Los Angeles Lakers Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Update: The Hawks will be without Trae Young (rest), Tyler Dorsey (right groin tightness) and Jaylen Adams (left ankle sprain) for Thursday’s game.

The Atlanta Hawks put together a comeback for the ages (insert laughter here) on Wednesday evening, erasing a 27-point halftime deficit to advance in the Las Vegas Summer League tournament. As a result, the team is back in action on Thursday evening and the match-up against the Portland Trail Blazers exists with a place in the quarterfinals on the line.

Atlanta dropped an earlier “round robin” game to Portland this week but the Hawks are certainly playing better basketball right now. At the time of this post, there is no indication that the Hawks will be resting anyone (aside from John Collins) and the Trae Young experience rolls along as a result.

Stay tuned throughout the day for all the latest from Las Vegas and, of course, be gentle to one another in the comments below.
