2018 NBA Summer League Game 6: Hawks vs. Bulls

One more before tournament play.

The Atlanta Hawks will join the other 29 NBA teams in tournament play later this week but, on Tuesday, Chris Jent and company will finish up round robin action with a match-up against the Chicago Bulls. At this point, things haven’t gone particularly well (at least on the scoreboard) for the team in either Salt Lake City or Las Vegas but this is another opportunity for youngsters to make an imprint.

John Collins will be on the sidelines for the rest of Summer League, leaving the Hawks with something of a hole in the frontcourt when compared to previous action. On top of that, both Tyler Dorsey and Trae Young are dealing with injuries that sidelined them for some (or all) of Sunday’s action, leaving the potential for a very short bench.

At the time of this post, there is no additional information available with regard to Young and Dorsey, but if they are unable to go, players like Jaylen Morris, Antonius Cleveland and Jaylen Adams will see an uptick in playing time. Regardless, the action is scheduled to involve Pace Academy’s Wendell Carter and there will be plenty of intrigue with how players like Omari Spellman perform in this setting.

Stay tuned throughout the day for all the latest and be cordial to one another in the comments below.
