Per a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Atlanta Hawks are planning to guarantee the contracts for Isaiah Taylor and Tyler Cavanaugh:
The Atlanta Hawks plan to guarantee the contracts of Isaiah Taylor ($1.3M) and Tyler Cavanaugh ($679K) for the rest of the season, league sources tell ESPN.

Taylor was signed right before the beginning of the season and has been a consistent member of the rotation all year, so it’s no surprise that they’ll hold onto him for at least the rest of this season. He has a non-guaranteed second year as well, which the Hawks can decide upon at a later date.
Cavanaugh was just recently converted from a 2-way player to a regular contract and also has a non-guaranteed year remaining after this one. Since arriving in Atlanta in early November, he’s also been a constant presence, made larger by the Hawks’ injury concerns in the front court.
With 15 fully-guaranteed players, the Hawks will not have the flexibility a few other teams have to sign 10-day contracts or to use their Room Exception to bring in another player. Speculation continues to swirl about the futures of many of the veterans on the team as we get closer to the trade deadline in early February, which could possibly open up a spot for a flyer if general manager Travis Schlenk decides to go in that direction.
