With the promotion of Tyler Cavanaugh to a full NBA contract, the Atlanta Hawks have been operating with only Josh Magette on a two-way deal. That is reportedly set to come to an end, however, as Shams Charania of The Vertical reports that the Hawks will be signing swingman Andrew White.
Sources: The Atlanta Hawks are signing forward Andrew White of G League Maine on a two-way NBA contract.

White went undrafted out of Syracuse following the 2016-2017 season and the 6’7, 210-pound small forward has been playing for the Maine Red Claws in the G League. In 22 games this season, White is averaging 16.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game, with an impressive 40.5 percent clip from three-point range.
Because the deadline to secure a second two-way contract was rapidly approaching, the Hawks needed to move swiftly in order to take advantage of the ability to add another player. It remains to be seen as to what kind of impact White can have but the Hawks now have a “full” roster of 17 players.
Stay tuned.
