The Atlanta Hawks have not yet released their full preseason schedule for the 2017-2018 NBA season. However, portions of the slate have come to the surface in the past few days and another piece emerged on Thursday.
LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers will be hosting the Hawks for a preseason game on Oct. 4 at Quicken Loans Arena, according to the team’s official schedule release. This does not come as a surprise given the frequency of the two teams meeting in recent preseason settings but, alas, this is the third game firmly on the agenda for Atlanta.
The Hawks will also face off with the Memphis Grizzlies (at home) and the preseason opener will be a contest against the Miami Heat on the road. At some point in the near future, the complete schedule will be announced but a bit of sleuthing unveils a pretty good idea of what the tune-ups will resemble in October.
Stay tuned.
