Atlanta Hawks announce 2017 Summer League roster

Heading into the 2017 Las Vegas Summer League, we have taken two different looks at the reported roster, courtesy of a report from Chris Vivlamore of the AJC. Now, though, the official roster has been announced by the Hawks, just in time for play to begin on Friday evening against the Brooklyn Nets.

Here is the complete roster, coming to you in alphabetical order:

  • DeAndre Bembry - No. 21 overall pick in 2016 NBA Draft
  • Nate Britt - Four-year North Carolina guard; undrafted in 2017
  • Tyler Cavanaugh - Played collegiately at Wake Forest and George Washington; undrafted in 2017
  • John Collins - No. 19 overall pick in 2017 NBA Draft
  • Isaia Cordinier - 2016 second-round pick; spent 2016-2017 season with Antibes
  • Bryce Cotton - Former NBA guard; played with Hawks in 2016 Summer League
  • Tyler Dorsey - No. 41 overall pick in 2017 NBA Draft; Dorsey reportedly signed a two-year guaranteed contract this week
  • Duje Dukan - Four-year player at Wisconsin; played for G League’s Windy City Bulls in 2016-2017
  • Quincy Ford - Five-year player at Northeastern; played for Salt Lake City Stars in 2016-2017
  • Alpha Kaba - No. 60 overall pick in 2017 NBA Draft
  • Trent Lockett - Played collegiately at Arizona State and Marquette from 2009-2013; played in ACB during 2016-2017 season
  • Josh Magette - Invited to 2016 training camp; reportedly agreed to two-year contract with Hawks in late June
  • Taurean Prince - No. 12 overall pick in 2016 NBA Draft (Editor’s note: everyone knows Taurean, right?)
  • Winston Shepard - 6’8 forward from San Diego State
  • Richard Solomon - Four-year player at Cal; played in Europe during 2016-2017
  • Diamond Stone - Recently acquired big man; No. 40 overall pick in 2016 NBA Draft
