Happy Friday from Las Vegas!

The Atlanta Hawks will kick off their Summer League slate this evening against the Brooklyn Nets and there is plenty of intrigue to the festivities. Atlanta’s roster includes 2016 first-round picks Taurean Prince and DeAndre Bembry, 2017 first-round pick John Collins and intriguing young pieces in Tyler Dorsey, Isaia Cordinier, Alpha Kaba and more.

In addition, Summer League head coach (and Hawks assistant) Charles Lee has the opportunity to shine in a prominent role and potential camp invitees Bryce Cotton and Josh Magette will be featured at the point guard spot. The Hawks are opposed by a Brooklyn team that features some real talent, highlighted by 2017 first-round pick Jarrett Allen and young wings Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Caris LeVert.

The win-loss result doesn’t always matter much in Las Vegas but there is an opportunity to learn more about Atlanta’s future pieces and it begins tonight. Stay tuned throughout the evening and join us in discussing the action.
