Monday begins a new week but the Atlanta Hawks are still in Las Vegas trying to grind and improve in preparation for the 2017-2018 season. Their pursuit of Summer League glory (insert laughter here) continues this afternoon with a match-up against the Chicago Bulls.
There was plenty to like about Sunday’s performance, including crazy highlight dunks and an encouraging showing from newly acquired center Diamond Stone (that we broke down in big-time detail after the fact). Now, we will see if that can translate on the team’s first “back-to-back” and the Bulls will deploy a few NBA-quality players like Denzel Valentine and Lauri Markkanen.
