In today’s NBA, there are 17 players who play in their own signature sneakers. However, there are more than 17 active players who have had their own basketball shoe. Players such as John Wall, Jamal Crawford, Kevin Love and George Hill had their own basketball shoes at one point, but have since switched brands. Below is a list of every athlete who currently has a signature sneaker.
LEBRON JAMES - KEVIN DURANT - KYRIE IRVING - PAUL GEORGE
Right now, there are four active players with signature sneakers at Nike. In addition to these four, Nike continues to make and sell Kobe Bryant’s signature sneaker. Top athletes at Nike who don’t have their own shoe include Anthony Davis, Giannis Antetokounmpo, DeMar DeRozan, and Gordon Hayward.
JAMES HARDEN - DAMIAN LILLARD - DERRICK ROSE
Of these three Adidas athletes, Derrick Rose has been given the most love. Adidas has made and sold over 15 different shoes with Rose’s name. John Wall was recently an Adidas athlete too, but has since switched to Nike. Dwight Howard is another former Adidas signature athlete to have switched brands.
KLAY THOMPSON - RAJON RONDO - LUIS SCOLA
Although Anta has produced signature sneakers for all three of these athletes, Klay Thompson’s shoes are the only ones available for purchase in the United States.
DWIGHT HOWARD - TONY PARKER - MATTHEW DELLAVEDOVA
Yes. Dellavedova has his own sneaker.
CHRIS PAUL - CARMELO ANTHONY
Paul and Anthony aren’t the only Jordan athletes to have their own shoes. Russell Westbrook also has his own Jordan, but his shoe isn’t a performance shoe.
Curry is the only basketball player to have received a sneaker line from Under Armour. His most recent sneaker is the UA Curry 3.
Wade has had 5 sneakers with Li-Ning. If you want to learn more about his brand, view the Way of Wade website here.
