The Atlanta Hawks announced on Friday that they have assigned forward Taurean Prince to the Long Island Nets of the NBA D-League via the flexible assignment rule.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Chris Vivlamore reports that the plan is for Prince to play in two games with Long Island before the Hawks reassess the situation. Long Island is in Greensboro on Friday and Saturday.
This is Prince’s third D-League assignment this season. He is averaging 21.7 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in four games with the Nets this season.
