UPDATE: The Hawks have officially announced the move:
ROSTER UPDATE: We have assigned Mike Muscala & DeAndre' Bembry to the @ErieBayHawks of the @nbagleague.

Per a report from the AJC’s Chris Vivlamore, both Mike Muscala and DeAndre’ Bembry have been assigned to the Erie Bayhawks, Atlanta’s G League affiliate:
The Hawks have assigned Mike Muscala and DeAndre Bembry to the G-league. Now they just have to get to snowed-in Erie, Pa.

Muscala was sent to Erie last week in a bid to get him some practice and playing time on his injured ankle, which has been giving him problems for almost two months now. Muscala was probable for Atlanta’s game against the Wizards on Wednesday but was inactive. It was thought that Muscala had recovered from his injury, but perhaps he still needs another game or two in the G League to get back to full health.
Bembry dealt with an injury of his own at the beginning of the year but had been a consistent member of the Hawks’ rotation since returning to the lineup in mid-November. However, he played just seven minutes against the Oklahoma City Thunder last week and has received two straight DNP-CDs in the Hawks’ recent wins against Dallas and Washington. There’s no injury news for Bembry, so it seems that he’s fallen out of favor with head coach Mike Budenholzer.
The Bayhawks play in Erie on Thursday and Saturday, though there is some question as to whether those games will take place, considering Erie received almost five feet of snow on Monday and Tuesday.
