The Atlanta Hawks are already shorthanded at the power forward spot with Ersan Ilyasova (left knee bone bruise) currently sidelined, and his replacement in the starting lineup, Mike Muscala, is the latest to go down with an injury, adding to the Hawks’ ever-growing injury list.
The Hawks announced on Saturday afternoon that Muscala did not travel with the team ahead of Sunday afternoon’s matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers with a sprained left ankle and, thus, will miss Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena.
Malcolm Delaney, meanwhile, did travel with the team and he is considered as “doubtful” for Sunday with a sprained right ankle. Delaney did not feature in the Hawks’ loss to the Houston Rockets on Friday night.
Elsewhere, Ersan Ilyasova (left knee bone bruise), DeAndre’ Bembry (fractured right wrist) and Miles Plumlee (strained right quad) remain out, while Marco Belinelli (sore left Achilles) and Dennis Schröder (sprained left ankle) are listed as “probable.”
