The Atlanta Hawks announced late Friday night that they have recalled Taurean Prince and Mike Scott from the Long Island Nets of the NBA D-League. The two players will rejoin the team in Dallas in time for Saturday’s game against the Mavericks.
It was a week long stay for Prince who had a good showing. He wrapped up the week with a 20 point, four rebound performance on Friday. In four games, Prince averaged 21.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists while shooting 53 percent from the floor.
Scott finished with eight points, three rebounds and three steals in 22 minutes on Friday. Scott was scratched from the lineup on Wednesday due to some leg soreness. He has appeared in six games in the D-League this season and is averaging 13.8 points and 4.3 rebounds.
Atlanta also confirmed that they had requested waivers on Ryan Kelly. Atlanta had until the end of the day on Saturday to waive Kelly or have his contract become fully guaranteed. The team may also need a roster spot to complete the reported trade of Kyle Korver to Cleveland.
The Hawks will take on the Mavericks tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET in Dallas.
