The Atlanta Hawks kick off a four-game road trip Wednesday with a stop in Orlando to face the Magic.

Atlanta will be looking for a measure of revenge against Orlando this time around. The Hawks scored 120 points and shot 51 percent from the field but still lost to the Magic by 11 points. Orlando shot 59 percent in that game and knocked down 15 of 34 three-point attempts and had the Hawks searching for answers on the defensive end of the floor.

While the Hawks have won three straight to climb back above the .500 mark for the season, their defensive effort hasn’t fully recovered. Atlanta is just 24th in the league in defensive rating allowing 109.2 points per 100 possessions over their last 10 games in which they have gone 6-4.

Ultimately that is not a good look for a team that is not very good offensively. The Hawks are currently 23rd in the league in offensive rating.

Orlando sits at 16-20 for the season and are 5-5 over their last 10 games. They are coming off a 115-103 road win over the Knicks on Monday. Jodie Meeks led the way with 23 points in New York while Aaron Gordon and Serge Ibaka added 22 each.

Ibaka was a thorn in Atlanta’s side in the earlier meeting scoring a game-high 29 points. Elfrid Payton pitched in 26 off the bench for the Magic.

Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from the Amway Center in Orlando and you can follow along on Fox SportsSoutheast.
