The Atlanta Hawks entered Monday's game running on fumes and down two rotation players but found a way at the end thanks to a pair of winning plays from Dennis Schroder and Paul Millsap.

Schroder bounced back from a pair of tough games to finish with 28 points on 13 of 16 shooting. Schroder's biggest shot came late when he knocked down a three-pointer with 22 seconds left to put Atlanta in front 108-107.

New York still had time for one final possession. Derrick Rose found an opening and drove to the hole when out of nowhere came Millsap who swatted away the attempt. Carmelo Anthony missed the follow attempt and Schroder grabbed the rebound to seal the win for Atlanta.

Millsap finished with 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists but struggled most of the afternoon going just 5 of 18 from the field. However, with Dwight Howard out, Millsap was the anchor of Atlanta's defense finishing with three blocks and none bigger than the one on the final possession.
