The Atlanta Dream look to inch closer to a playoff spot on Sunday when they host the Seattle Storm at Philips Arena. The Dream enter Sunday's game with a 14-13 record and in a tie with the Chicago Sky for the fourth spot in the playoff standings. Atlanta holds the tiebreaker over the Sky by taking the season series between the two teams.
Atlanta is coming off of its last extended break of the regular season. The Dream last played on August 28 when they defeated the Connecticut Sun 87-73. They have seven games remaining counting Sunday's game with four of those at home. The Dream are 9-4 at home this season and have won five straight home contests.
Atlanta has split two meetings with the Storm so far this season with both teams winning on their home floor. Rookie forward Breanna Stewart scored a season-best 38 points in an 84-81 loss in late June. Sancho Lyttle registered a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds in a 77-64 Dream win on July 5.
Lyttle is still recovering from a toe injury and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game. Atlanta has gone 1-1 since their return from the Olympic Break and now faces a stretch of seven games over the next 13 days. The Storm have gone 2-1 since the break including an upset win over Los Angeles and a win against Dallas on Wednesday. Seattle is currently tied for the eighth and final playoff spot but will play five of their final seven games on the road.
