2016 NBA Summer League Game 1: Hawks vs. Rockets game thread

New, comments

The Hawks will open their Las Vegas Summer League schedule tonight against the Houston Rockets.

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Hawks begin their journey through the 2016 NBA Summer League on Friday evening, as the team faces off against the Houston Rockets in Las Vegas.

Houston's roster features several names that fans will be familiar with, including former Wisconsin star Sam Dekker, talented forward K.J. McDaniels, local product Kenny Gaines and even an eight-year (!) veteran in former number two overall pick Michael Beasley. On the Atlanta side, the Hawks will be without Taurean Prince, who is unavailable due to a hold-up in the trade involving Jeff Teague.

Stay tuned throughout the evening and join us in discussing the action.

Game Date/Time: Friday, July 8th, 8:00 pm ET

Location: Cox Pavilion, Las Vegas, Nevada

TV: ESPN3 (Online)
