The Kris Humphries era in Atlanta isn’t quite yet over.

The veteran forward will be returning for another season with the Hawks, after coming over from the Washington Wizards and playing in 21 games for the Hawks last season. Per The Vertical’s Shams Charania, Humphries and the Hawks have agreed to a one-year deal for $4 million.

Humphries averaged 6.4 points and 3.4 rebounds for the Hawks in 21 regular season games, and had a pretty good stretch in the month of March, providing a spark off the bench for the Hawks.

This now brings the Hawks roster to 17 players, so expect to see some changes as the summer goes on. We’ve had some entertaining play in the Las Vegas Summer League thus far, especially with DeAndre Bembry, and Taurean Prince making his debut today.

Any type of solid contribution off the bench will be welcome from Humphries. With his one-year contract at that price, it isn’t something awful under this salary cap.
