Shams Charania of The Vertical reports that Bazemore is set to meet with the Houston Rockets in the wee hours of Friday morning. Beyond that, it appears that the Rockets are pulling out all the stops for this particular sit-down.

Bazemore, who turns 27 today, is one of the more coveted wing players on the market this summer, and the Hawks have made it known that he is a priority for the future. Still, there is a realistic scenario in which the market spins out of control for the former Old Dominion standout, and the ball could begin rolling downhill with this meeting for Houston.
Kent Bazemore is set to receive a gigantic contract in free agency in the coming days, and the Hawks may have to spend more money to retain him than previously anticipated.
