A notice of accusation has been filed against Mike Scott by the Banks County District Attorney's office, according to Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. This stems from his arrest on felony drug charges back in July of 2015. The notice is a formal criminal charge.

Scott is facing up to 25 years in prison for the drug charges from last year. He was arrested with his brother after a traffic stop on I-85 in Banks County, where police found 35.2 grams of marijuana and 10.9 grams of MDMA, which is better known as Molly. Scott told police that the drugs belonged to him, and that his brother was unaware.

The fourth-year forward could face discipline from both the Hawks and the NBA. He averaged 6.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in 75 games this season. He's under contract with the team for one more year at $3,333,334.

The Atlanta Hawks have not released any statements regarding the matter.
