Dennis Schröder leaves Game 2 with ankle injury (UPDATED)

Dennis Schröder suffered an ankle injury late in Atlanta's Game 2 win over Boston.

The Atlanta Hawks scored an 89-72 win over the Boston Celtics Tuesday night to take a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series but lost reserve point guard Dennis Schröder to an apparent ankle injury.

Schröder suffered the injury in the game's final moments when he landed awkwardly on a drive to the basket. He crumpled to the floor and was later helped to the locker room area.

Schröder played just under 20 minutes in the game and finished with eight points and one assist while going 3 for 6 from the field. His condition will likely be updated tomorrow.
