The Atlanta Hawks have updated their injury report and list Kent Bazemore as "probable" with a bruised knee for Saturday's game against the Houston Rockets.
Bazemore sat out Thursday's win over the Denver Nuggets. For what it is worth, Bazemore was also listed as probable against the Nuggets but the team opted to hold him out of action. Mike Budenholzer told reporters on Thursday that he didn't expect the injury to keep Bazemore out for more than one game.
With Bazemore sidelined, Tim Hardaway Jr made his first start of the season for the Hawks and performed well finishing with 21 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Bazemore has been one of the biggest surprises for the Hawks this season as he stepped into a starters role for the first time in his career. He is averaging a career-best 11.9 points while shooting a career-best 44 percent from the field. Atlanta has won four straight games and moved into third place in the Eastern Conference standings after Thursday's win.
