Lamar Patterson and Walter Tavares will suit up for the Austin Spurs again on Sunday as the continue what will be a short D-League assignment. Both players took part in Saturday's 90-78 loss to Oklahoma City.
Patterson got the start at small forward but showed some rust going 4 for 19 from the field including 1 for 10 from three-point range. He finished with 12 points in 36 minutes of action. Tavares added eight points, seven rebounds and two blocks in 18 minutes off the bench.
Patterson has played six games with the Spurs this season and is averaging 15.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists while shooting 37 percent from the field. Tavares has played in 13 D-League games overall this season and is averaging 9.6 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.2 blocks on 67 percent shooting.
