Mike Scott scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds to help the Delaware 87ers to a 106-105 win over the Westchester Knicks Thursday night.
Scott played 26 minutes off the bench in the second of what is expected to be a two-game D-League assignment. He connected on 5 of 12 field goal attempts including 3 of 6 shooting from three-point range.
The Hawks assigned Scott to the D-League to give him some much needed court time after being sidelined for most of training camp and throughout the first part of the season. Scott has appeared in just three games with Atlanta this season due to soreness in his left knee. He underwent a non-surgical procedure at the end of training camp.
The Hawks will be in Milwaukee on Friday and Scott is likely to rejoin the team then.
