The Atlanta Hawks look an early Christmas present Friday night when they travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets. Atlanta will be without center Dwight Howard who will miss his third straight game due to back tightness. Howard didn't make the trip and his status appears to be day-to-day at this point.
Shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr. did travel to Denver but was ruled out Friday afternoon with a right groin strain. The Hawks will also make a change with the starting lineup. After going small for two straight games without Dwight Howard, Atlanta will go with a more traditional look tonight with Kris Humphries starting at center.
