Tim Hardaway Jr left tonight’s game against the Timberwolves in the first quarter after suffering a right groin injury. Hardaway immediately exited the game and headed straight to the locker room area. The Hawks listed him as questionable to return.

Hardaway appeared to suffer the injury after landing on an early dunk that gave the Hawks the lead after initially falling behind 12-2.
Atlanta is already without Dwight Howard who missed his second straight game due to back tightness.
UPDATE
Hardaway came out after halftime walking with a noticeable limp. He did not participate in warmups and has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.
Hardaway Jr. will not return to tonight's game.
