This will be Bembry’s third trip to the D-League this season. He is averaging 27 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists in two games with the Salt Lake City stars this season. The Stars will host the Texas Legends Thursday night.
Bembry has been on the outside of the Hawks rotation and minutes have been hard to come by. He has appeared in just nine games for Atlanta this season and is averaging just 4.8 minutes per contest.
With several veteran wing options available ahead of him, the Hawks have utilized the D-League as an avenue to get Bembry some much needed playing time. He is averaging just under 36 minutes in both of his appearances with Salt Lake City and should be in line for a full workload on Thursday.
