The Hawks return home from a disappointing road trip and look to snap a four-game losing streak when they face the Detroit Pistons.

The Atlanta Hawks are happy to be back at Philips Arena after a 1-4 road trip that dropped their record on the season to 10-9.

Atlanta won the first game of the trip in Indiana but has dropped four-straight against Western Conference opponents. The Hawks wrapped up the trip on Wednesday with a 109-107 loss to the Phoenix Suns despite a career-best 31 points from point guard Dennis Schroder.

Paul Millsap was sidelined against the Suns due to a sore hip. He is listed as questionable for Friday’s game against the Pistons. The Hawks won’t hold a shootaround on Friday morning so an update on Millsap’s status will come prior to the game. Detroit is still without point guard Reggie Jackson who is nearing a return but has been declared out for Friday’s game.

After some early road struggles, Detroit seems to have found their rhythm. They have won two-straight including a 121-114 victory in Boston on Wednesday. Four different players scored at least 20 points in that game led by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s 25.

Friday’s game will feature an intriguing matchup at the center position between Atlanta’s Dwight Howard and Detroit’s Andre Drummond. Howard’s presence has transformed the Hawks into a Top 5 rebounding team. Drummond is second in the league averaging 13.2 boards per game followed closely by Howard at 12.9.

Game time is at 8 p.m. on Friday and the game can be seen on Fox Sports Southeast
