Locked on Hawks podcast: Crossover preview with Locked on Raptors

New, comments

The Hawks have a tough game on Friday and we preview the festivities with Episode 96.

NBA: Atlanta Hawks at Toronto Raptors Kevin Sousa-USA TODAY Sports

Note: Please forgive the audio issues on today’s podcast and we’ll be back on Monday!

Happy Friday! The Atlanta Hawks haven’t graded out terribly well to this point in the season and, frankly, things do not get any easier over the weekend. Before coming home to face the Charlotte Hornets on the second night of a back-to-back, the Hawks must travel to Canada to match up with the Toronto Raptors on Friday night and that is a tough ask for any NBA team. Prior to tip-off, the Locked on Hawks podcast visited with Sean Woodley of the Locked on Raptors podcast to preview the game and topics include the following:

  • Toronto’s offense has been incredible this season and Atlanta’s defense is struggling. Uh oh.
  • There are a couple of intriguing match-ups to watch, especially at point guard and center
  • The majesty that is DeMarre Carroll and his fashion sense
  • The Paul Millsap-to-Toronto trade whispers are already happening and we discuss
  • Much, much more

If you enjoy what you hear on Friday’s episode, please do us a solid and subscribe to the podcast on iTunes and, if you are willing, leave us a favorable (i.e. five-star) review.
