The Atlanta Hawks look to keep rolling Wednesday night when they take on the Los Angeles Lakers at Philips Arena. Atlanta’s start to the season has been downright dominant winning all three-games by double digits thanks to a stingy defense and an opportunistic offense. The last time the Hawks won four straight to start a season was in the 2010-11 season and that is the mark they are looking to equal tonight.

So far Atlanta has taken advantage of a soft schedule to open the season. The Wizards and the Sixers are still winless while the Kings are 2-3. The Hawks don’t face a team that finished with a winning record last season until November 8 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. They face only six playoff teams from last season over their first 19 games of the season.

The Hawks dispatched the Kings on Monday with another lockdown fourth quarter. Atlanta outscored Sacramento 27-14 over the final 12 minutes to win 106-95. In their 3-0 start, Atlanta has outscored opponents 90-47 in the fourth quarter. The Hawks haven’t allowed an opponent to score 100 points yet and lead the league in defensive efficiency.

The Lakers come to town with a 1-3 mark and on the second night of a back-to-back after a 115-108 loss in Indiana on Tuesday. Lou Williams led the Lakers with 19 points off the bench while Jordan Clarkson added 15.
