Millsap has been progressing on the court and could be back in action soon. Jack still has not been cleared for full contact following last season’s ACL injury while Splitter is out with a hamstring injury.
Mike Scott is expected to make his 2016 preseason debut against the Cavaliers. Scott missed the first two preseason games with a sore knee.
The Hawks will go with their expected starting lineup of Dennis Schroder, Kyle Korver, Kent Bazemore and Dwight Howard with Mike Muscala making his third straight start at power forward in place of Millsap.
