Angel McCoughtry one of 25 finalists for Team USA

Atlanta Dream forward Angel McCoughtry is one of 25 finalists for the 2016 U.S. Women's Basketball Team.

Atlanta Dream forward Angel McCoughtry is one of 25 players announced by USA Basketball as finalists for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Women's Basketball Team.

McCoughtry has plenty of experience in international play having been a member of the 2012 team that captured an Olympic Gold medal. She also played with Team USA at the FIBA Americas Championship in 2014 and 2010. McCoughtry averaged 10.9 points on 62 percent shooting during the 2012 London games.

Joining McCoughtry as finalists for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team are:

The team will be led by University of Connecticut head coach Geno Auriemma. The team will hold training camp on February 21-23. The 2016 Olympic games will be held from Aug 5-21 in Rio De Janeiro.
