The Atlanta Hawks will be without power forward Paul Millsap who has left the team to attend his grandfather's funeral according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chris Vivlamore.

Millsap and Al Horford are the only Hawks players to have appeared in all 44 games so far this season. Tiago Splitter will move into the team's starting lineup with Horford sliding to the power forward position.

Millsap has been Atlanta's most consistent player so far this season averaging 18.4 points and 8.8 rebounds while shooting 49 percent from the field.

Atlanta opened their current road trip with a win in Portland before falling to the Sacramento Kings on Thursday. They will wrap up the trip on Monday in Denver with Millsap expected to be back in the lineup.
