Serbia's Nemanja Bjelica hit a running one hander with 0.9 seconds remaining to deliver a 68-66 loss to Germany in Day 2 action at the 2015 EuroBasket tournament.

The game was a back and forth affair with neither team able to take control. Germany trailed 66-63 until Heiko Schaffartzik knocked down a clutch three-pointer to tie the game with just 23 seconds remaining. After Germany used a couple of fouls to give to take time off the clock, Serbia inbounded the ball to Bjelica who drive to his right and knocked down the floater to put Serbia in front.

Germany had one last chance, but Schaffartzik's desperation heave from the corner fell way short giving Serbia the win.

Dirk Nowitzki led the way for Germany with 15 points and 10 rebounds but was just 5-15 from the field. Tibor Pleiss added 15 points and seven boards. Dennis Schröder finished with 11 points, six assists and four turnovers. Bjelica led Serbia with 12 points.

Germany will have a chance to regroup with an off day on Monday before resuming play on Tuesday against Turkey.
