The Atlanta Hawks will add center Earl Barron to their training camp roster according to Yahoo's Marc J. Spears. The Hawks had a spot open up earlier this week after veteran Jason Richardson announced his retirement.

Barron has had stints with seven different NBA teams since the 2006 season. His most extensive action came in 2008 when he appeared in 46 games with the Miami Heat. Last season, he played in 16 games for the Phoenix Suns and had a stint with the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA D-League. He has averaged 4.6 points and 3.5 rebounds in 140 career NBA games.

Atlanta currently has 18 players on its training camp roster. The team will host media day festivities on Monday before heading to the University of Georgia to begin training camp on Tuesday.
