The Atlanta Hawks have added DeQuan Jones to their training camp roster according to a report by Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.
Free agent DeQuan Jones has agreed on a training camp deal with the Atlanta Hawks, league sources tell Yahoo. Jones played for ORL in 12-13.

Jones is a 25-year-old, 6-foot-8 small forward out of the University of Miami. He appeared in 63 games for the Orlando Magic during the 2013 season. He went to training camp with the Sacramento Kings in 2014 but was waived prior to the season. From there he turned to the D-League where he averaged 13.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while playing for the Reno Bighorns. He traveled to Europe for the 2015 season where he played for Acqua Vitasnella Cantu where he averaged 8.2 points per game.

Jones joins Terran Petteway, 2014 second round pick Lamar Patterson, and veteran Jason Richardson as players vying for the one roster spot remaining on Atlanta's roster. The Hawks will open training camp on September 29 at the University of Georgia.
