NBA schedule release, 2015-16: Hawks host Pistons on October 27

The Atlanta Hawks will open the 2015-16 regular season at home against the Detroit Pistons on October 27.

The 2015-16 NBA Schedule is finally here and it is clear reminder to fans everywhere that basketball is once again right around the corner. The Atlanta Hawks are coming off of a historic season and will open at home in new uniforms on Tuesday, October 27 against the Detroit Pistons.

The Hawks won't have to wait long for a national TV appearance. On Thursday, October 29 Atlanta will take on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in a nationally televised match up on TNT.

The Hawks' annual MLK Day game will be against the Orlando Magic with a 5 p.m. tip off. The game will also be televised on NBA TV.
