Thabo Sefolosha continues to recover from the broken fibula that he suffered in a nightclub incident that involved the New York City Police Department last season. Sefolosha told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chris Vivlamore that he is "feeling better everyday," but that it was still too early to determine when he might be ready to return to the court.
"I am doing better every day," Sefolosha told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "The leg and ankle are feeling good but it is too early to say exactly when I'll be back on the court."
Sefolosha's return could be critically important to the Hawks this season given the loss of DeMarre Carroll to Toronto in free agency. The Hawks used the room created by Carroll's departure to shore up their frontcourt with the addition of Tiago Splitter.
At the wing position, the Hawks added Tim Hardaway Jr. in a draft day trade and agreed to a free agent deal with Justin Holiday. Atlanta also has Kent Bazemore who was in the rotation last season.
