The surgery will be preformed at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City by Dr. David Altcheck. A timeline for his recovery will be established sometime after the procedure. He already previously stated that he hopes to be ready by the start of training camp.
Korver is entering the third year of a four year extension that he signed back in 2013. He appeared in 75 games last season while averaging 12.1 points per game. He led the league in three-point percentage at 49 percent. In just three seasons in Atlanta, Korver ranks fourth in franchise history for three-pointers made with 595.
