After shuffling from the 15th selection back to number 19, the Hawks have elected to send the pick to the New York Knicks in exchange for shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr.
The Knicks are trading Tim Hardaway to the Hawks, who will draft Jerian Grant for the Knicks, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Hardaway, who is now 23 years old, was the 24th overall selection in the 2013 NBA Draft after spending his collegiate career at Michigan. In two seasons with the Knicks, he has averaged 10.8 points per game while shooting 40.8% from the floor and 35.3% from three-point range.
It is unclear if the Hawks will acquire additional compensation in the trade, but Hardaway projects as a potential member of the rotation in 2015-2016, though it must be noted that he has been knocked for weaknesses on the defensive end during his short NBA career.
Stay tuned.
