Atlanta Hawks guard Dennis Schröder confirmed to Sport1 de that he will play for the German national team at the 2015 EuroBasket tournament later this summer. Schröder helped Germany qualify for the EuroBasket tournament last summer, but will have a bit more help this summer with Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki also joining the team.

Schröder made huge strides during his second season in the NBA and emerged as the Hawks' primary backup at point guard behind starter Jeff Teague. He credited his time with the German national team last summer as helping with his development.
